PewDiePie is king of YouTube with 1.3bn views

The United Soccer League (USL), effectively the third-tier of North American soccer, has announced a new partnership with YouTube that will see all USL Pro regular season and playoff games streamed live in 2014. Live games and on-demand content will be available for free on each teams YouTube channel, with archived footage available shortly after the completion of each match. Supplementary content will include the USL Pro Goal of the Week and USL Pro Weekly, an audio podcast focusing on the personalities within the league. Online streaming is a vital component of the growth of the league, USL president Tim Holt said. YouTube eliminates barriers that previously stood between fans and the action on the field.

His videos were watched more than 224 milliontimes in December alone.
